I have COPD and earlier this year it got really bad. I was coughing and wheezing—I could hardly breathe. I couldn’t do the simplest things—like getting dressed—without help. Thank goodness they had a bed for me at Buffalo Center. The team there is really great. The nurses monitored my medication and general condition, while the therapists concentrated on improving my physical abilities. And by the way, the food was really good, too! There’s no cure for COPD, but the team at Buffalo Center got it under control, and within a month I was back home again, feeling stronger. I’m on my own and independent!
