I’ve lived in Brooklyn most of my life, and one of the things I love about it is that it’s a great place to walk. But when I fell and broke my hip, I wondered how long it would be before I could walk again. I went to Maimonides hospital for surgery, but after that I could barely stand up, let alone walk. My broken hip threatened to break my spirit. Thankfully, I chose Brooklyn Center for my recovery and rehab. Everyone there, from the Administrator to the housekeeping staff, is wonderful—all of them are very nice people. At the top of the list is the physical therapy department: It’s absolutely excellent. The rehab gym is beautiful, and the therapists created a detailed plan to get me back on my feet My hip and my spirit are stronger than ever. The Brooklyn Center team did the job—in just three weeks. Amazing! And I’m back, walking the great streets of Brooklyn.
