“I’m lucky to be alive. I was in pretty bad shape. I was hit by a bus, and it broke both my legs. When I was discharged from the hospital I had to learn how to walk. I didn’t think it could get any worse. And then I got hit again—this time by Covid-19!
I thank my lucky stars I chose Williamsbridge Center for my recovery and rehab. Because not only was it physically a challenge, it was emotionally difficult as well. We were in quarantine at the time, and I couldn’t get visits from my family. But the team here—the nurses and therapists—has become like a second family to me. They’re as warm and friendly as they are highly skilled at what they do.
I’ve started walking again, and my wife can visit now. I overcame a runaway bus and a runaway virus, and I couldn’t have done it without the guidance, understanding and dedication of the great people at Williamsbridge Center.”
