I had a debilitating stroke, and when it came time to leave the hospital, I couldn’t walk and I could barely talk. My niece did some research, and she heard very good things about the stroke rehab program at Northern Riverview.
Her research proved to be spot-on. The staff was so friendly, and a social worker came to talk to me about my condition, my goals and what my time at the facility would be like. I want to give a special shout-out to the speech therapist, Lauren. What an angel! She made a great contribution to my successful recovery.
